Dr. Kenneth 陈 is the author of two books: Yonfan's Bugis Street (2015)和 Remade in Hollywood: The Global Chinese Presence in Transnational 电影s (2009). He is also the co-editor of the book Sino-Enchantment: The Fantastic in Contemporary Chinese 电影s (2021). In addition to publishing numerous peer-reviewed journal essays 和 book chapters, Dr. 陈 sits on the editorial board of the 中国电影杂志 和 on the 国际 Advisory Board of the Asian Film Archive (Singapore). 他的 teaching interests include posthumanism, the fantastic, transnational Chinese 和 Asian cinemas, queer studies, ecology 和 cinema, 和 film genres such as melodrama, musicals, romantic comedies, action films, science fiction, 和 political dramas. He is the recipient of the College Scholar award in 2010-2011 from UNC's College of 人文社会科学. As an ardent figure skater 和 ice dancer, he has competed in adult figure skating competitions, has passed official USFS (United States Figure Skating) tests, 和 has appeared in many ice shows in Greeley 和 Fort Collins, CO.
